What and who is Batik Man?

Batik Man is a creative collaboration between Yahya and his family from Gambia and Luqman from Switzerland, blending West African craftsmanship with Swiss design. This unique art project focuses on hand-painting and dyeing both upcycled and new clothing, combining art, sustainability, and craftsmanship. Each design tells a story, drawing inspiration from cultural, natural, and abstract elements, while celebrating individuality and creativity.

Every item is unique and exists only once, making each piece a true one-of-a-kind artwork. Batik Man represents not just fashion, but a movement towards conscious design, where every piece is a work of art with its own journey.
